Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, for the self...
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the racial justice movement, Michael sought a practice that would not only keep his body strong and mobile, but also cultivate stillness, resilience, and inner balance. Through a daily yoga practice, he discovered that while much of the world felt uncertain, true power existed in returning to what was within his control—his breath, his body, and his mindset.
Inspired by yoga's transformative impact, Michael pursued his teaching certification and, after months of dedicated study and profound personal growth, became a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
Today, Michael draws upon the discipline, artistry, and mindfulness cultivated throughout his career to create classes that invite students to quiet the mind, reconnect with the body, and move with greater presence, intention, and confidence. Whether guiding first-time practitioners or seasoned yogis, he fosters an inclusive and empowering environment where every individual feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to discover their fullest potential—on and off the mat.
Michael believes yoga is far more than a physical practice; it is an opportunity to cultivate self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful connection. His philosophy is simple:
"Yoga is for every body and every type of body."
